Presentation of the show
SIMI is a landmark event in the real estate industry’s calendar in France.
During the three days of the show more than 30,373 persons and 467 private businesses and public organizations gather for the event. Together they provide a comprehensive representation of land and building opportunities and associated commercial property services.
Opportunities in the show include offices, warehouses, industrial premises, high street shops and retail parks, to mention just a few. The show is also apace with on-going and future changes in the real estate ecosystem, notably with the deployment of digital services in buildings.
Connected Buildings & Territories Forum
For the 17th SIMI, and for the second year running, SIMI is hosting the Connected Buildings & Territories Forum. This is a fabulous opportunity for construction, energy and IT trades, as well as the property industry in general and local authorities, to harness the benefits of the technological revolution underway.
The other show highlights are the two plenary sessions that set the pace for the 100 or so conferences in the programme.
The first, organized jointly with Fondation Palladio, will take place Wednesday December 5, 2018 from 16:30 to 18:00 in the Salle des Evénements.
The second will take place Thursday December 6, 2018 as part of the Connected Buildings and Territories forum.
The Conference Tracks
SIMI is also a large programme of approximately 100 conferences streamed into 11 conference tracks. This year, two new tracks have been introduced: The Conversion and Reversibility track and the 2024 Olympic Games – Urban Development track.
SIMI is, above all, a professional networking event where business contacts are made and matured for the general development of the real estate industry.
